The Community Chest Twilight Team Run 2005

On Tuesday 29 November a very enthusiastic WPBTS team of 80 participants gathered at Founders Gardens behind the Artscape Theatre Complex. The team flew the Blood Transfusion banner high, and proudly went up on stage to encourage blood donation during the holiday season.

They courageously braved the summer rain and walked, ran, strolled and even jogged the 4.5km City Centre route, all for a good cause. The proceeds of the event went to the charities and projects supported by the Community Chest dealing with those affected and infected by HIV/AIDS.

Well done WPBTS, hope to have an even bigger team next year.
