Donor Awards 2005

A picturesque sunset across the magnificent Durbanville Hills set the scene for a memorable Donor Awards Ceremony held at Meerendal Wine Estate.

This occasion marked the recognition of donors who have donated 150, 175 and 200 pints of blood over many years. These achievements certainly display: Commitment, a Calling from with in to do good and Compassion as told by our guest speaker Ric Amansure CEO of Mercy Ships S A. Mr Amansure shared many heart warming stories with our donors, which made them aware of the value of their donation and encouraged them to continue donating blood.

Our donors received their milestone gifts; crystal jugs (150th), a set of crystal glasses (175th) and a crystal decanter (200th) as well as a culinary feast prepared by Meerendal's finest chefs.

An evening enjoyed by all! Congratulations to our Mile Stone donors!
